Autumn Support Your Parks weekend was here, so I made a quick trip out to Tonto National Forest to activate. I drove to the Pobrecito area and found the large cement parking lot gates closed, so found a spot to park in the gravel lot. I was able to work all park to park contacts. Randy K7NNT came out and worked a few stations as well. I operated my Yaesu FT-897D with ATAS-120 antenna. Thanks to everyone else for activating parks and making this a quick, 30 minute activation.
