The first weekend of the year includes the ARRL RTTY Roundup. I was able to get on 20m a little Saturday afternoon, then 40m and 80m Saturday evening. I operated Sunday morning, about an hour before going to church. Then, another 4 hours working 20m on Sunday afternoon. Totaling 9.5 hours at the radio, I was able to complete 260 RTTY QSOs. I called CQ a little bit, but mostly spent the time going up and down the bands answering other stations. I was looking for the last 3 states I needed for RTTY WAS (ND, VT, and OK). I was able to complete QSOs with stations from those states. Woo hoo! Here’s my final tally.
Station: K7VZ

80: 50
40: 63

Comments:
Needed 3 states (ND, VT, OK) to complete a RTTY WAS and was able to work them.
With several family commitments in between, I was able to spend 9.5 hours at the
radio Saturday and Sunday. Worked 20m hard Sunday afternoon, but should have
tried 15m and 10m too. Oh well, had fun with what I think is my highest RTTY RU
score ever.
