This past week I’ve spent working FT8 a little each evening. I did make 1 SSB QSO on Sunday afternoon while testing the ATAS-120A install in my car. As I look at my awards page on the POTA site, I noticed there’s a category for Repeat Offender Hunter once you’ve worked the same park 20 times. Out of my top 5, N2NWK is the activator of 3. Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail (K-4581) currently 13 times, Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail (K-4567) currently 10 times, and National Capital Parks Park (K-0654) currently 9 times. In chasing his frequent activations at those parks, I unlocked the Operator to Operator award.
I also managed to pass the 300 hunted parks milestone and unlocked the Ouachita Mountain Goldenrod award.
VOTA Leaderboard is active? https://vota.arrl.org/leaderboard.php
We’re over a month into the ARRL year long Volunteers on the Air event and there’s finally something on the Leaderboard page. Still disappointing that it wasn’t ready on day 1, but it’s progress. I checked my logs and I have LOTW confirmed contacts using SSB as well as 12m, 17m, and 30m. Anyway, here’s the output so far when searching my callsign.
