Oct. 19, 2007 – IRLP connection from node 3395 Las Vegas to node 7620 Phoenix.
After passing the Technician test, there was a wait for my new callsign to be issued. With a Yaesu FT-7800 installed in my vehicle, I wasn’t able to transmit until FCC ULS listed my callsign. That finally happened while on a trip to Las Vegas. The 3 of us figured out how to connect the IRLP nodes and chatted for a few minutes.
